Ever since posting about Mike Matas's journey through Morocco & Spain, I've been fascinated by the use of still photography to create a voyage through a place. Now I'm in complete awe of American University of Paris student Luke Shepard who has created a breathtaking look at Paris with Le Flâneur. I love the lack of people in it, and the mood it creates. Just watch.

That is so cool. Loved it! I took a studio lighting class last fall and the professor made a similar video of the class. Stop-motion, is it called?

Gorgeous!! Makes me miss Paris so much! I've been dallying with Norway and Germany lately... I need a French fix!
I'm going to have to learn how to do it and give it a go on my trips this year. Thank you for the inspiration. Wouldn't have thought to apply it to travel. If anything worth watching comes of my attempts, I'll let you know!
