An Evening at the Theater
Sure, everyone sees New York as the leader in theater, but Baltimore also has a great scene. Here’s just a quick look at some of the exciting theater happening now.
Theater Serenissima: the Worlds of Rick Shelley at the Creative Alliance: miniature puppetry in the imaginary worlds of storytelling. Only 25 people fit in this magical theater, so be sure to book your tickets in advance. Now through Oct 20. {photo above by ASD}
“Arsenic & Old Lace” at CENTERSTAGE – a humorous tale of two old women trying to kill their house guests (a bit reminiscent of the French film “Delicatassen” which I saw the night before seeing the play…there must be something in the air). Now through Oct 14.
“Sight Unseen” – a jaded artist’s search for identity at Everyman Theatre. Now through Oct 7.
High Zero experimental music festival [a pick-of-the weekend by the NYT] at Theatre Project this weekend (festival until Oct 3).
P.S. Special thanks to Maryam at My Marrakesh for adding me to her travel blogroll! Maryam has a delightful blog about Morocco and the guest house she and her family are building.

Oh you are so welcome!
PS I love Baltimore – a date once took me to a place there where it was all you could eat desert for $25. Heaven!
