Giving Thanks
I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving (for the non-Americans, I hope you had a wonderful day)! Around the dinner table travel-talk consumed our conversation. My aunt is in town and we were so excited to talk to my cousin Nicole for the first time in 3 months. Today she arrived in Hawaii for a quick stopover – her second to last port on her voyage around the world on Semester at Sea (she spent her Thanksgiving skydiving!). And per recent tradition, Lauren (my SAS roommate 7 years ago), joined us for dinner and recounting stories for my aunt. And to top it all off I may have cooked up my next travel adventure. . . stay tuned.
P.S. Check out these slideshows from the current SAS voyage. They’re very well done and give a great taste of the ports they’ve visited. Wow, how technology has changed even in the past 7 years.

Glad you had a happy holiday!
One of my very best friends did Semester at Sea a handful of years back – she still talks about it as if it happened yesterday. I must admit, her recounts certainly do encourage my travel urges :).
Would love to hear more about your cousin’s adventure!
