Blurb
After recently receiving several compliments on my grandfather’s scrapbook I made on Blurb.com (a print on demand resource that makes printing/publishing your own books totally affordable), I decided it was time for my next project. I’ve had an idea for a photo book in my head for awhile now, but when I saw that Blurb is hosting a competition – Photography Book Now – with $25,000 grand prize, I figured this was the little bit of extra incentive I needed. You can peruse last years winners here, but I was particularly drawn to Gaijin Diary, which I posted above. The possibilities really are endless…

I’ve been looking for a reason to pay more attention to blurb. Perhaps this will be that little push to make me take more time investigating them. You have some fantastic images here. I’ll also have to look through your backlog and find the scrap book.

This is gorgeous! I’ll have to check it out! Terry and I are developing a few photo book projects of our own. We’ll have to talk to you about it.
