The Art of the French Cliché
Seeing as it still hasn’t stopped raining and Paris is starting to feel a bit more like Seattle, I thought it the perfect time to revisit some fabulously french stereotypes as presented in this delightful little film, Cliché!, by illustrator Cedric Villain.
What are your favorite French stereotypes? What did he miss?
P.S. Don’t miss the special bonus making of – I always love a little look into the creative process.

what a fun little film! The ‘All French people smoke like chimneys’ cliche is the only one missing, I think.

So cute, really enjoyed it! I don’t think he missed anything…except maybe that everyone smokes? ;)

I agree Brigid, but that has never stopped me from visiting every year. I’ll be there this summer ducking all the smokers as they stand outside my favorite restaurants and cafes. Great Post!
